JESCHKELANGER Studio

The artists Marie Jeschke and Anja Langer founded JESCHKELANGER Studio in 2016.
They have been archiving selected chunks of glass that accumulate as surplus from art
productions in German glassworks. With this ever-growing palette of colors and shapes,
they create translucent paintings of glass in concrete block, which they call BASIS RHO. In
2012, Anja Langer graduated as a master student at the Dresden University of Fine Arts,
and in 2014 Marie Jeschke completed her master studies at the Berlin University
of the Arts. Both live and work in Berlin.
